Bathroom Portraits

2010 - present

I am fascinated by the aesthetic qualities of bathrooms. Whether public or private, I find these spaces are each imbued with a unique character and personality. In my series, Bathroom Portraits, my model responds organically to these visual environments, creating colorful tableaus that hint at untold narratives. Some of the spaces depicted are elegant, others are grungy; all of them invite the viewer to get lost in the textures, colors, and stories they embody.
